They’re back!
The terrible towels will wave in Dallas on February 6th.
Oh well. Kudos to Green Bay!
Edit 2009.02.01: It is done. Gimme a six-pack, a’ Super Bowl rings!
Well, if Inauguration Frenzy hasn’t sapped your productivity, then your preparations for Super Bowl XLIII are sure to get in the way of getting anything done!
And here to help, as always, are some good-looking Visio shapes to help you achieve your goals…
When I was a little boy, the Steel Curtain ruled the grid-iron, and there were no Seattle Seahawks for whom to hopelessly cheer.
So even though Bradshaw, Harris and Mean Joe are long gone, the Steelers still hold a special place close to my heart. That, and their logo is relativelly easy to draw.
Of course, you’re supposed to use Visio to visualize your business, to improve your processes and to model your BP. But what fun would it be to work in an office where there were no shenanigans, no hijinks?
Hence, I’ve created two Visio Pittsburgh Steeler Logo SmartShapes for your drag-and-dropping enjoyment.
If you’re a traditionalist, you’ll like Steelers Logo (normal):
If you like the look of Windows Vista, or enjoyed the article: Lens Flare & Highlight Shapes – Bling Bling!, then you might like this Super Bowl Super Bling version of the logo. May I present Steelers Logo (BLING!):
Have fun needling your office mates, and enjoy the Super Bowl!

I’m waiting for the Arizona Cardinal helmet. Why would you not make the helmet of the next Super Bowl Champion???
🙂

Man, I was going to make some joke about them not being a “real” team (I guess I’m still having trouble with the move from St. Louis…)
Turns out, according to Wikipedia, that the Cardinals are the oldest continuously-run professional football club in the U.S. (since 1898). And they’ve been in ‘Zona for 20 years, which is coming up on the 27 they spent in St. Louis. So, er, um…
Oh yeah: well, it doesn’t snow in Phoenix, so they can’t possibly be a real football team, right? But further Googling revealed that it does snow in Phoenix, so now I’m out of excuses, other than the fact that the Steelers will win the Super Bowl, and if they don’t, I’m Admin and can change my comment.

Only four more ’til we get to the Other Thumb!

Here’s what I think about that. The Steelers will be back to the Super Bowl in 2009.
