	Text on Circle SmartShape The Text on a Circle Visio SmartShape comes in three flavors that handle a maximum of 25, 50 or 100 characters of text. Use the smaller ones for quicker performance. These shapes are self-contained, and require no VBA code like earlier “circular text generators” you might have seen from Visio Guy. Simply select the shape, type text, then reposition the text along the circumference using a handy control handle. You can change the spacing between characters, adjust the baseline, change the orientation for text that is on the top vs. on the bottom of the circle, as well as for right-to-left writing systems. You can style the text and resize the shape, just like any other Visio shape. All in all a flexible, easy-to-use system for a feature that is natively not available in any version of Visiio.
