I think it would be best, Dave, if you would register for the Visio 2010 Beta.

The Visio 2010 Technical Preview has already been in the hands of wealthy corporations, MVPs, insiders and bit-torrenters for a few months. Now, after gathering feedback, fixing bugs and adding features, Microsoft is ready to release a beta to a larger audience!

If you go over to Visio Toolbox, you can sign up for an alert that will let you know when the new bits are ready for download. The registration is painless: click the green button and a pre-made e-mail message will pop-up, telling Microsoft that “I’m interested in signing up for Microsoft Visio 2010 Beta Trials when available.”

All you have to do is click the Send button and you’ll be registered!
