Map of Ireland

Question: What do you think of when you hear: “Leinster, Munster, Connacht and Ulster?”

No, that’s not the name of the law firm on Boston Legal.

These are the provinces of Ireland, and today is March 17th! So Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone!

To celebrate, we’ve got a Visio map of Ireland for you to download and put to good use.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Ok, this is where I make clever jokes and references to shileighleigh and leprechauns, pour myself a green pint and say “b’gosh and b’gora”, but I’m not going to do it.

Today’s article is so short, it’s almost non-existent. The download contains a map of Ireland, as the title suggests. The shapes you get look like this:

The Visio file contains some more hints about what you can do with the shapes. There are auto-alignment features available in the right-click action menu. Each shape contains links to Google Maps and Windows Live Maps, along with a link to a Wikipedia article about the province. And there are control handles for easily repositioning the text on each shape.

But you might as well just download the drawing and play with it now, so you won’t be late to the pub!
