Archives for November 2009
I’ve built lots of variations of this shape over the years, but I thought I’d do a super-duper, ultra-mega version this time. And I even threw in auto-numbering!
But I’m not sure what to do with it, maybe you can help!
Come on in and find out more about these lovable guys, and get the download ..for your kids!
Visio lets you drill in and roll up the data to understand structure and hierarchy the way we were meant to understand it: visually!
I just read about an extremely cool feature coming in Office 2010, thanks to John Goldsmith’s visLog.
The new functionality will help you to remove backgrounds from images, essentially cutting out the subject of a picture and allowing your own backgrounds to show through.
Every time you open a particular Visio diagram, the Review toolbar pops up. No matter how many times you close it, reset the toolbars and menus or scream, it never seems to go away.
This has happened to me several times, and I’ve finally figured out how to fix it.
Visio has the tools to draw circular-arrays of objects, but learning to do it takes time. There are no direct “arrange stuff in circles” functions. You have to cleverly use other functionality to get the job done.
To make things easier for you and me, I invented the Radial Elements Tool solves some of these problems. With this tool, you can create circular arrays of customizable tick marks in seconds!
Dave, won’t you register?
Please register, Dave.
Dave, I think it’s time for you to register.
I think it would be best, Dave, if you would register for the Visio 2010 Beta.
Note: the beta period for Visio 2010 is now over.
